Gary Benjamin officiating. Interment was in Greeley Cemetery, Greeley, KS. Mrs. Kratzberg died Thursday, February 2, at Anderson County Hospital. Freda Pauline Kratzberg was born April 19, 1920, at Amiot, the daughter of James A. and Mary Ella (Schroyer) Fuller. She graduated from Westphalia High School. She loved to quilt and was a member of Pleasant Ridge H.D.U. Pauline and Edward John Kratzberg were married in June of 1944. This union was blessed with four sons and three daughters. He preceded her in death on March 3, 1969. Mrs. Kratzberg was also preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Fuller; and her brother, Norman Fuller. Pauline is survived by her sons, Larry Kratzberg and his wife, Carol of Kansas City, MO, Alan Kratzberg of Kansas City, KS, Dale Kratzberg of Richmond, and Roger Kratzberg of Garnett; her daughters, Carol Green and her husband Barry of Shawnee, Eileen Kratzberg of Dodge City, and Roberta Jean Tate of Ottawa; her brother, Clifford Fuller of Iola; her sisters, Maxine Gordon of Garnett and Velma Ashlock of Carlyle; 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Music was provided by Jeanine Zentner, organist, and Bill Craig, vocalist. Casketbearers were Larry Kratzberg, Alan Kratzberg, Dale Kratzberg, Roger, Kratzberg, Barry Green, and Mark Lee. Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements." "Claire Annice Perkins 1918-2006 Funeral services for Claire Annice Perkins, 87, Bronson, were Thursday, February 2, 2006, at Bronson United Methodist Church with Pastor Michael McKee officiating. Interment was in Bronson Cemetery. Mrs. Perkins died Monday, January 30, at Moran Manor. Claire Annice Perkins was born May 14, 1918, at Chanute, the daughter of William Henry and Lou Vinnie Smith. She grew up in Chanute and was a 1938 graduate of Chanute High School. Claire and Dee Ellsworth Perkins were married on November 4, 1939, at Garnett. The couple lived in Kansas City, MO, and Ottawa, IL, before settling in Bronson in the 1940's. She was a homemaker. After her two sons were raised, she worked at meat lockers in Moran and Bronson. Claire was a member of the Moran and Bronson Methodist Churches, the Chanute American Legion Auxiliary, Order of the Eastern Star, and Helpful Neighbors Club. Mrs. Perkins was preceded in death by her husband, Dee Perkins in 1960; an infant son, James Lee Perkins; three brothers and three sisters. Claire is survived by her sons, John William Perkins of Parsons and Wayne Dee Perkins of Olathe. Music was provided by Grayce Spencer. Musical selections included 'How Great Thou Art' and 'The Old Rugged Cross'. The family suggests memorial contributions to Allen County Home Health or Allen County Hospice. Page 5, Column 2: "Edward Paul Britton 1927-2006 Funeral services for Edward Paul Britton, 78, Garnett, were Monday, February 6, 2006, at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Rockey Ratts officiating. Cremation followed the services. Mr. Britton died Thursday, February 2, at Anderson County Hospital. Edward Paul Britton was born April 18, 1927, at Greenwood, WV, the son of Loren and Bricie (Ellifritz) Britton. He worked for cities Service Natural Gas as a superintendent for 36 years. Ed was a member of the Garnett Optimist, the Mid-America Nutrition board for 20 years, First United Methodist Church of Garnett, the Masons of Ulysses, and was very active in community activities. Ed served his country with the United States Marines. Ed and Shirley Sickler were married April 2, 1948, at Wichita. This union was blessed with two children. She survives of their home. Mr. Britton was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Britton, in 1995; and his parents, Loren and Bricie Britton. Ed is also survived by his daughter, Sherry Combs of Wichita; his brother, Loran Britton of Arkansas; his sister, Kathy Winn of Wichita; three grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. Music was provided by Jeanine Zentner, organist, and Scott Schulte, vocalist. Musical selections included 'An Evening Prayer' and 'How Great Thou Art'. The family suggests memorials to Mid-America Nutrition. Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements." Page 5, Column 3: "Della F. Fewins 1924-2006 Funeral services for Della F. Fewins, 81, Moran, were Saturday, February 4, 2006, at Elsmore United Methodist Church, Elsmore, KS, with Pastor Connie Cox officiating. Interment was in Old Elsmore Cemetery. Mrs. Fewins died January 31 at Moran Manor. Della F. Fewins was born October 16, 1924, at Neosho, MO, the daughter of Johnnie Schlessman and Dova Hayworth. She grew up in the Neosho area. Della married Paul Crumbliss. Two children were born to this union. They later divorced. Della and Wilver 'Bill' Fewins were married on May 15, 1951, at Iola. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1988. Della moved to Elsmore in the late 1940's from Utah. She lived in many different places with the family while Bill worked for pipelines. Della worked at the Big Smith Factory in Chanute, H.L. Miller and Sons in Iola for more than 20 years, and at National Garment in Chanute. Della was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in LaHarpe. She liked to garden and tend to her flowers and she stayed busy sewing and helping her family. Mrs. Fewins was also preceded in death by her parents, two sons, John F. Crumbliss and Ernest Crumbliss; four brothers, Learville Schlessman, Junior Hawkins, Lloyd Hawkins, and Frank Hawkins; and her sisters, Norma Baughn and Nadine Hudson. Della is survived by her son, John Fewins of Elsmore; her brothers, Buford Hawkins of Neosho, MO, Ferdinand Hawkins of Hutchinson, and Francis Hawkins of Creighton, MO; her sisters, Betty Bricker of Aurora, MO, Erma McCann of Elsmore, and Barbara McGinis of Fairland, OK; her grandchildren, Bill Crumbliss of Lexington, OR, Teresa Obenauf of Morton, WA, James 'Jimmy' Crumbliss of Pouslbo, WA, Ricky Crumbliss of Morton, WA, Gina Haaf of Wichita, Melanie Rosa of Ft. Gustis, VA, John Crumbliss of Augusta, and James Crumbliss of Tulsa, OK; and several nieces and nephews. Music was provided by Sandy Murrow. Musical selections included 'Abide With Me' and 'Hymn of Promise'. Casketbearers were Marvin Foster, Clay Hicks, Mike Hansen, Jim Lewis, Doug Lewis, James Lewis, and Tyler Lewis.
