Mason 1960-2006 Funeral services for Bradley E. Mason, 45, Ottawa, were Monday, March 20, 2006, at Dengel and Son Mortuary in Ottawa. Interment was in Princeton Cemetery. Mr. Mason died Wednesday, March 15, at his home in Ottawa. Bradley E. Mason was born November 28, 1960, at Ottawa, the son of Robert E. and Delma Louise (Yohe) Mason. He was a lifelong Ottawa resident. When he was a child, Bradley lived in Germany three years during his father's military career. He graduated from Ottawa High School with the Class of 1979. He worked at a variety of jobs including truck driver, hauling water, and later, as a printing operator at Packer Plastics in Lawrence. Bradley and Diana M. Wheeler were married in December 1982. They were later divorced. Mr. Mason was preceded in death by his mother, Delma Louise Mason. Bradley is survived by his father and his companion, Robert Mason and Judy Romary of Burlington; his daughter, Summer Sky Mason of Waterloo, IA; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. "Keith Zook 1937-2006 Memorial services for Keith Zook, 68, formerly of Garnett, were Monday, March 20, 2006, at First United Methodist Church in Odem, TX. Mr. Zook died Friday, March 17, at a hospital in Corpus Christi, TX. Keith Zook was born July 11, 1937, at Newton, the son of Frank and Naomi Zook. He graduated from Garnett High School with the Class of 1955. He was married to Janet (Rogers) Zook. Survivors also include his sister, Elma Hampton of Garnett." Page 5, Column 2: "William Francis Egidy 1924-2006 Mass of Christian Burial for William Francis Egidy, 82, Kansas City, KS, formerly of Greeley, was Saturday, March 18, 2006, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Brian Klingele officiating. Interment was in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. Mr. Egidy died Tuesday, March 14, at his home in Kansas City. William Francis Egidy was born January 11, 1924, in rural Greeley. He farmed in the Greeley area most of his life and then went on to run several tire service stations in Ottawa until retirement. Bill loved farming, searching for bargains at the sale barn, dancing, gardening, listening to talk radio, watching the Price is Right, bowling, playing bingo, and his family. Bill and Constance Lucas were married November 25, 1962, at Kansas City, KS. This marriage was blessed with seven beautiful children. Mr. Egidy was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Bill is survived by his sons, Gerard Egidy and wife Kimberly of Osawatomie, Robert Egidy and wife Erin of Kansas City, KS, and Thomas Egidy; his daughters, Mary Lu Muntzel and husband Mike of Belton, MO, Michele Guerrero and husband Diego of Tolpeka, Patricia Egidy and Katie Egidy, both of Kansas City, KS; his twin brother, John Egidy of Parker; his sister, Ida Funk of Parker; 12 grandchildren; and seven nieces and nephews. Music was provided by Mary Milner, organist, and Jane Lickteig, vocalist. Musical selections included 'Abba Father', 'Prayer Of St. Francis', 'On Eagles Wings', and 'Amazing Grace'. Casketbearers were Alanna Moore, Roxi Edigy, Diego Guerrero, Bud Raitinger, Allen Hesse, and John Hesse. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Southeast Kansas Mental Health. Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements." Page 5, Column 3: "Donal Columbus Beddo 1937-2006 Funeral services for Donal Columbus Beddo, 68, Mesquite, NV, formerly of Garnett, were Friday, March 17, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel with Pastor Phil Rhoades officiating. Mr. Beddo died Sunday, March 12, at his home in Mesquite, NV. Donal Columbus Beddo was born October 30, 1937, at Mountain View, OK, the son of D.L. and Bertha B. (Butler) Beddo. He and Jeanne Hines were married October 31, 1955, at Quartsite, AZ. Donal and Thomasine "Tomi' M. Aspy were married December 18, 1988, at Carson, CA. She survives of their home. Mr. Beddo was preceded in death by his parents, D.L. (Jack) Beddo on December 13, 1980, and Bertha Butler Beddo on February 17, 1977; his sister, Barbara Ann Beddo Pike in 1991; and a brother who died in infancy. Donal is also survived by his sons, Donal Beddo and his wife Jackie of Princeton, and Duane Beddo and his wife Shea of Harrisonville, MO; his step-son Doug Datria and his wife Mary of Fountain Valley, CA; his daughters, Donna Hermreck and her husband Leon and Dana Hardman and her husband David, both of Garnett, and Dawn Leadbetter and her husband Darin of Ottawa; his step-daughter, Lori Evans and her husband Mike of Roseville, CA; 13 grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren. Ahring, Sr. 1915-2006 Funeral services for Fred W. Ahring, Sr., 91, Garnett, are Thursday, March 23, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at First Christian Church. Interment is in Garnett Cemetery. Mr. Ahring died Saturday, March 18, at Life Care Center of Burlington. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, March 22, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
