Fields 1958-2006 Graveside services and burial for Randy L. Fields, 48, Papillion, NE, are Saturday, November 18, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at Garnett Cemetery. Mr. Fields died Sunday, November 12, at his home. Randy L. Fields was born May 10, 1958, at Garnett, the son of Harry and Norma Fields. Mr. Fields was preceded in death by his father, Harry Fields. Randy is survived by his mother, Norma Fields of Papillion, NE; his sisters, Sherry Benjamin and her husband Claron of Garnett, and Fran Turpin and her husband Mike of Odessa, MO; his brothers, Larry Fields and his wife Lylette of LaVista, NE, and Bill Fields of Omaha, NE; his aunts, Norma Lee Higginbottom of Parker, and Henrietta Barrouis and her husband Charles of Blackwell, OK; his uncles, Charles Weiland of Overland Park, and Jerry Fields of Tulsa, OK; his special friend, Sherry Wheat of Papillion, NE; and several nieces and nephews. Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements." "Hilda T. Wolken 1918-2006 Funeral services for Hilda T. Wolken, 88, Garnett, were Thursday, November 16, 2006, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Scipio, with Father Emil Agostino officiating. Interment was in St. Boniface Cemetery. Miss Wolken died Monday, November 13, at Golden Heights Living Center, Garnett. A complete obituary will appear in the next Advocate. Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements." "Loren E. Jefferis 1915-2006 Funeral services for Loren E. Jefferis, 91, Moran, were Thursday, November 16, 2006, at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Moran, with Pastor Retta Smith officiating. Interment was in Moran Cemetery. Mr. Jefferis died Monday, November 13, at Fredonia Regional Hospital, Fredonia, KS. Loren E. Jefferis was born September 4, 1915, at Elsmore, KS. He grew up in the Elsmore and Moran area, attending country schools. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, serving in North Africa and Italy. After retiring from the service, he was a farmer and a stockman. He lived on the family farm from 1949 until entering the nursing home in 2001. Loren was a member of American Legion Post #385, Moran, for more than 50 years, and was a member of VFW Post #6324 in LaHarpe. Mr. Jefferis was preceded in death by his parents, Austin and Celia (Donoho) Jefferis; his wife, Ruby (Burgess) Jefferis; one infant son and one infant daughter; four sisters and one brother. Loren is survived by one son, Pete and his wife Debbie of Northport, AL; one daughter, Sandy Zornes and her husband Larry of Moran; four grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren.
