Graveside services and interment for Brayden Lee Yocham, infant son of Derek and Jamie

Yocham, Colony, KS, were Monday, December 16, 2002, at 10:00 a.m. at Colony Cemetery with

Pastor Steve Bubna officiating.  Brayden died Friday, December 13, 2002, at Neosho Memorial

Hospital, Chanute, KS.

He is survived by his parents, Derek and Jamie Yocham; his grandparents, Darrell and Teresa

Yocham, Colony, KS, and Ed and Nancy Ellington, Colony, KS; and his great-grandparents, Gary

and Myrna Faulhaber, LaHarpe, KS, Marge Jones, Iola, KS, and Sheldon and Bettie Caudell,

Colony, KS.

Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.”



“Phyllis Ann Kent

1920-2002

Phyllis Ann (Whightsil) Kent, 82, Carbondale, CO, formerly of Bakersfield, CA, and Garnett, died

December 16, 2002, at the home of her daughter in Carbondale.

Phyllis Ann Kent was born October 27, 1920, the daughter of Phil and Florence Whightsil.

Phyllis and Homer Wilson Kent were married on August 3, 1940, in Bakersfield, CA, where they

lived most of their married life.  To this union were born two children, Phillip and Kay.

Mrs. Kent was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Wilson Kent, on September 24, 1998;

her parents, Phil and Florence Whightsil; and a brother, Richard Whightsil.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Phillip and Kay; her eight grandchildren and five

great-grandchildren; and her brother, John Hershyl Whightsil and his wife, Harriet, Topeka, KS.

A graveside service will be held in Garnett in January, pending further notice from the family.”
