Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.” “Leona Mae Waddle 1941-2002 Graveside inurnment services for Leona Mae Waddle, 60, Rockaway Beach, MO, were Monday, July 22, 2002, at 10:00 a.m. at Lane Cemetery, Lane, KS. Mrs. Waddle died Tuesday, July 16, 2002, at her home. Leona Mae Waddle was born October 14, 1941, at Osawatomie, KS, the daughter of Floyd and Dorothy (Head) Waddle. She was a long time resident of Franklin County, KS, living in Lane, Princeton, and Homewood before moving to Branson, MO, in 1995, and to Rockaway Beach, MO, in 1999. She was a lifelong homemaker and also worked in the laundry departments of several Branson motels. Leona and Wilbur Kennedy were married in the early 1950’s. They were later divorced. In the early 1960’s, she was united in marriage with Carl Thompson. They were later divorced. Mrs. Waddle was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Kathryn Mae Kennedy; her parents, Floyd and Dorothy Waddle; and two granddaughters. Leona is survived by her sons, Ray Kennedy, Osawatomie, KS, Randy Kennedy, Rockaway Beach, MO, Ronnie Kennedy, Waverly, KS, Carl Thompson, Jr., Rockaway Beach, MO, and Allen Thompson, Princeton, KS; her daughters, Lesa Thompson, Eldon, MO, and Mary Thompson, Eldon, MO; her brother, Eddie Waddle, Homewood, KS; nineteen grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and her aunt, Jessie Waddle, Springfield, MA. Herman Joseph Feuerborn was born September 25, 1929, at Richmond, KS, the son of George Henry and Clara Amanda (Lickteig) Feuerborn. He was a farmer and stockman. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Herman and Marjorie Neptune were married August 25, 1962, at Chanute, KS. Mr. Feuerborn was preceded in death by two sons, Joe Feuerborn, on December 14, 1986, and Thomas Michael Feuerborn, born November 14, 2000; an infant daughter, Cynthia Feuerborn; and his parents, George Henry and Clara Amanda Feuerborn. Herman is survived by his wife, Marjorie Feuerborn, Richmond, KS; his sons, David Feuerborn and Doug Feuerborn, Richmond, KS; his daughters, Donna Crouse, Wapakoneta, OH, Lisa Feuerborn, Paola, KS, and Stephanie Feuerborn, Salina, KS; his brothers, Mark Feuerborn, Charles Feuerborn, and George F. Feuerborn, Richmond, KS, and John Feuerborn, Louisville, KY; his sister, Mary Jane Wall, Greeley, KS; and six grandchildren. Music was provided by The Joe Mader Family. Musical selections included ‘We Walk By Faith’, ‘Baptized in Water’, ‘One Bread, One Body’ and ‘How Great Thou Art’. Casketbearers were Mike Devoe, Charles Feuerborn, John Feuerborn, George Emmendorfer, George F. Feuerborn, and Mike Feuerborn. Honorary casketbearers were Conrad Hermreck and Gary Wilson. The family received friends following the Rosary Service on Monday, July 22, 2002, at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to St. Boniface Catholic Church. Mr. Sondergaard died Saturday, July 13, 2002, at Anderson County Hospital, Garnett. Harvey L. Sondergaard was born July 10, 1929, at Chicago, IL, the son of Peter and Marie (Bensen) Sondergaard. He was born and raised in Chicago and lived in Lenexa, KS, for thirteen years. He worked in finance as a credit manager, retiring from the Marley Cooling Tower Company in Mission, KS. He was a member of the Danish Lutheran Church. Harvey and Patricia Bensen were married May 28, 1977 at Lenexa, KS. Mr. Sondergaard was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Sondergaard, in 1977; his first wife, Joanne (Baker) Sondergaard; his parents, Peter and Marie Sondergaard; and a sister, Mary Katherine Hunt. Harvey is survived by his wife, Patricia Sondergaard, Kincaid, KS; his sons, Richard Teagarden and his wife, Kay, Hamilton, MO, and Steven Teagarden, Prescott, AZ; his daughter, Laureen Fanning and her husband, Scott, Lone Jack, MO; and his grandchildren, Heather Hickman, Melissa Teagarden, and Jacob Teagarden.
