Interment is in Garnett Cemetery. Mrs. Egger died Sunday, October 27, 2002, at Golden Heights Living Center, Garnett. Bonnie Mae Egger was born January 25, 1919, at Hollis, OK, the daughter of Dwight Lesley and Myrtle (Hacker) Chandler. She was a member of the garden club in Garnett and of the First Southern Baptist Church in Augusta, KS. Bonnie and Howard Ernest Egger were married October 15, 1938, at Mound City, KS. Mrs. Egger was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Ernest Egger; a great-grandson, Lars Volsvick; and her parents, Dwight Lesley and Myrtle Chandler. Bonnie is survived by her son, Ernie Egger, Garnett; her daughters, Susan Henman, Augusta, KS, and Noreen Lair, Wichita, KS; eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorial contributions to Golden Heights Living Center, which may be left in care of the funeral home.
