Interment was in Garnett Cemetery. Mr. Warbritton died Monday, January 27, at his home. Marvin Ralph Warbritton was born July 20, 1939, at Garnett, the son of Ralph Edward and Elsie Alberta (Edwards) Warbritton. He graduated from Garnett High School with the Class of 1958 and attended Allen County Junior College. He was a master craftsman furniture maker, working at Garnett Church Furnishings for more than forty years. He had been a member of the Kansas National Guard. Marvin and Sharon Laws were married September 9, 1989, at Richmond, KS. Mr. Warbritton was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Edward and Elsie Alberta Warbritton. Marvin is survived by his wife, Sharon Warbritton, Garnett; a step-son, Joe Rodriquez, Norton, KS; his step-daughters, Tessa Rene Barron, Garnett, and Spring Dawn Gibson, Westphalia, KS; his brother Norman Warbritton, Salina, KS; his nephew, Scott Warbritton; and nine grandchildren. Music was provided by Pam McSwane, pianist, and Angie Miller, soloist. Musical selections included 'Old Rugged Cross' and 'In The Garden'. Casketbearers were Miguel Barron, James Gibson, Floyd Laws, Marvin Sobba, Norman Warbritton, and Howard Williams. The family received friends on Wednesday evening, January 29, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. "Ella Mae Rigdon 1913-2003 Funeral services for Ella Mae Rigdon, 89, Fort Scott, KS, formerly of the Wesley Chapel community, were Saturday, February 1, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. at Coffel-Schneider Chapel, Mound City, KS. Interment was in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Mound City. Mrs. Rigdon died Tuesday, January 28, at Mercy Hospital, Fort Scott. Ella Mae Rigdon was born March 30, 1913, at Centerville, KS, the daughter of Ralph Vernon and Ethel Ester McGrew Adams. During her employment years, she worked in housekeeping at several hospitals. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Fort Scott. Elle and Ralph Lester Rigdon were married on March 4, 1931, at Greeley, KS. Mrs. Rigdon was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Lester Rigdon, in 1982; her parents, Ralph Vernon and Ethel Ester Adams; one brother, Bernal Adams; and one sister, Irene McGee. Ella is survived by her sons, Verl LeRoy Rigdon, St. Ann's, MO, and Harry Lewis Rigdon, Plano, TX; her daughters, Edna Mae Allen, Flemington, MO, and Ethel Louise Rigdon, Stockton, CA; eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. The family received from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association or the United Methodist Church of Mound City. Gary Benjamin officiating. Interment was in Garnett Cemetery. Mrs. Tipton died Tuesday, January 28, at Richmond Care Center, Richmond, KS. Edna Mable Tipton was born September 22, 1910, in Cass County, MO, the daughter of Mark B. and Nona (Mott) Hulett. She grew up in Garnett and moved to Kansas City in the 1930's, then returned to Garnett in the 1950's. She was a homemaker. Edna had been a resident of Richmond Care Center since 1997. Mrs. Tipton was preceded in death by her parents, Mark B. and Nona Hulett; one sister, Josephine Hulett; and four brothers, Floyd, Roy, Leslie, and Funston Hulett. Edna is survived by her son, Donald Tipton, Garnett; and her sisters, Alma Hulett, Sacramento, CA, and Elsie Hulett, Port Isabel, TX. Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements." "Mary Maxine Roush 1920-2003 Funeral services for Mary Maxine Roush, 82, Richmond, KS, were Wednesday, January 29, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. at Lamb-Roberts-Heise Funeral Home, Ottawa, KS. Interment was in Princeton Cemetery, Princeton, KS. Mrs. Roush died Friday, January 24, at her home. Mary Maxine Roush was born November 23, 1920, at Princeton, KS, the eldest of two daughters born to Bert and Goldie (McKay) Hutton. She attended school in Princeton. Mary and Bruce Spencer Roush were married February 9, 1940, at Colony, KS. They made their home in rural Princeton and became the parents of four children. A tornado destroyed their home in rural Princeton in 1974. Soon after that time, they moved to Richmond. She was a member of the Richmond United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. Some of her favorite pastimes included fishing, camping, gardening, cooking, canning, and growing flowers. At family get-togethers, her potato salad was an all-time favorite of everyone. She always entered her garden crops in the Richmond Fair. She had a canine companion named Cody. Mrs. Roush was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Spencer Roush, on December 23, 2001; her parents, Bert and Goldie Hutton; and one sister, Ida LaVern Martin. Mary is survived by her daughter, Marilyn New and her husband, Kenneth, Paola, KS, and Carolyn Berry and her husband, Lonny, Garnett; her sons, Charles Lewis Roush, Lawrence, KS, and Rick Roush and his wife, Meredith, Leavenworth, KS; ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. The family received friends on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour. Memorial contributions may be made to Richmond United Methodist Church.
