Interment was in Onaga Cemetery. Mrs. Gilsdorf died Thursday, February 6, at Community Hospital, Onaga. Mary Catherine Gilsdorf was born June 14, 1929, the daughter of Nathan L. and Ruth (McLin) DeFries. She graduated from Havensville Rural High School in 1947. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Kansas Delaware Tribe of Indians. Mary and Henry G. Gilsdorf were married August 29, 1949, at Topeka, KS. Mrs. Gilsdorf was preceded in death by her husband, Henry G. Gilsdorf, on April 21, 1993; and two granddaughters, Katie Louise Miller and Pearl Gilsdorf. Mary is survived by her sons, Henry Leon Gilsdorf, Earlville, IL, Steven Ray Gilsdorf, and Robert Eugene Gilsdorf and John Wayne Gilsdorf, both of Onaga, KS; her daughters, Patricia Jane Cox, Garnett, Sally Anne Miller, Onaga, and Mary Angela Ames, Havensville, KS; her brother, Nathan L. DeFries, East Wonatchee, WA; her sister, Anna Marie Cooper, West Carrolton, OH, twenty-three grandchildren, one step-grandson, and one great-grandson. Rosary was said Friday, February 7, at 7:00 p.m., followed by visitation. Memorials are suggested to the Parkinson's Disease and Related Disorders Association.
