"Lillian 'Peg' Feuerborn 1905-2003 Memorial graveside services and inurnment for Lillian 'Peg' Feuerborn, 97, Falls City, NE, were Saturday, February 22, 2003, at 1:30 p.m. at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, KS, with Pastor Richard Dunn officiating. Mrs. Feuerborn died Thursday, February 13, at her home. Lillian Feuerborn was born August 24, 1905, at Chanute, KS, the daughter of Myrtle Huffman. She was raised in Chanute and graduated from Chanute High School with the Class of 1923. After her marriage, she lived in Bush City, KS, Rantoul, KS, Camden Point, MO, Ottawa, KS, and Globe, AZ, before moving to Falls City, NE, in 1990. She was a lifelong homemaker. Lillian was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and Union Chapter #15, Order of the Eastern Star, both of Ottawa. Peg and Frank E. Boone were married in March 1924, at Chanute. He preceded her in death on January 19, 1959. On June 9, 1961 she was united in marriage with Hubert H. Feuerborn at Ottawa. He preceded her in death on June 21, 1978. Mrs. Feuerborn was preceded in death by her husbands, Frank E. Boone and Hubert H. Feuerborn; her mother Myrtle Huffman; her son, Charles Dean Boone; her brother, Orville Paul Huffman; and one granddaughter. Peg is survived by her sons, Robert O. Boone, Falls City, NE, and Duane Boone, Globe, AZ; her daughters, Dora Mae Traul, Raymore, MO, Bette Jo Yackle, Globe, AZ, and Linda Cadwallader, Richmond, KS; thirteen grandchildren, thirty-two great- grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorial contributions to Union Chapter #15, Order of the Eastern Star, which may be left in care of the funeral home. "Alma Lorene Kellstadt 1916-2003 Graveside services and interment for Alma Lorene Kellstadt, 86, formerly of Welda, KS, were Thursday, February 20, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. at the Welda Cemetery with Elder Leon Morrow officiating. Mrs. Kellstadt died Tuesday, February 18, at Pinecrest Nursing Home, Humboldt, KS. Alma Lorene Kellstadt was born March 3, 1916, at Iola, KS, the daughter of William P. and Essie (Morris) Marler. She grew up in Iola. She was married to Merle Kellstadt and they lived in the Garnett and Welda area. She worked as a cook and waitress, including a number of years at the Rocky Roost. Alma had resided in Humboldt since 1994. Mrs. Kellstadt was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Kellstadt, in 1968; her parents, William P. and Essie Marler; her brothers, John, Donald, William Jr., and Charles Marler; and her sisters, Ruby Marler, Jeanette Fawbush, Donna Monroe, Nancy Toscano, and Tawny Kay Bowan. Alma is survived by her sisters, Mary Gibson, Parsons, KS, and Lois Fisk, Coffeyville, KS. Waugh-Yokum and Friskel Chapel, Iola, KS, was in charge of arrangements." Page 3, Column 3: "Maude M. Fansler Harden 1914-2003 Funeral services for Maude M. Fansler Harden, 88, Garnett, were Friday, February 21, 2003, at 1:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Gale E. Mack officiating. Interment was private. Mrs. Harden died Tuesday, February 18, at her home. Maude M. Fansler Harden was born October 1, 1914, at Hendricks, WV, the daughter of Albert and Millie (Propst) Fansler. She grew up in West Virginia, than moved to Garnett, where she has lived since 1936. She attended business school in Ottawa and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Garnett, United Methodist Women, and P.E.O. Maude was a secretary and bookkeeper at Ransom Memorial Hospital, and a secretary and bookkeeper in the County Engineer's office during World War II. Maude and Ray Harden were married October 16, 1941, at Parsons, WV. Mrs. Harden was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Millie Fansler; a great- granddaughter, Madison Thornton; four brothers and one sister. Maude is survived by her husband, Ray Harden, of the home; her son, Dan Harden and his wife, Carolyn, Manhattan, KS; her daughters, Juli Sale and her husband, Gary, Tucson, AZ, and Patti Heiland and her husband, Phil, Dodge City, KS; her grandchildren, Jenny Dorsten, Matthew Harden, Heather Holian, Hollie Thornton, Levi Benjamin, and Clinton Benjamin; and her great-grandchildren, Ethan Thornton, Austin Thornton, Jakob Benjamin, and J.D. Cooley. Music was provided by Jeanine Zentner, organist, and Bill Craig, soloist. Musical selections included 'The Lord's Prayer', 'How Great Thou Art', and 'Country Roads'. Casketbearers were Clinton Benjamin, Levi Benjamin, Jenny Dorsten, Matthew Harden, Phil Heiland, and Gary Sale. Honorary casketbearers were Mary Anderson, Pearl Howerton, Willis Henderson, Dorothy Henderson, Clarence Johnson, Irma Johnson, JoAnn Johnson, Katherine Perkins, Jim Shmidl, and Lou Ann Shmidl. The family received friends on Thursday, February 20, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church or P.E.O., which may be left in care of the funeral home. Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements."
