Gary Benjamin officiating. Memorial services were held at Central Christian Church in Fort Worth on Friday, May 23, with Dr. Ed Malone officiating. Mrs. Prescott died Tuesday, May 20, at a Fort Worth hospital. Becky Sue Prescott was born October 30, 1951, at Garnett, the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Jessie Wycoff. She graduated from Lake Worth High School in Fort Worth and had been a resident of Fort Worth since 1969. She was a friend of Bill W. She was a homemaker and worked for Tommy’s Texaco Mini Mart in Texas for several years. Mrs. Prescott is survived by her husband, Gary Smith; her children, Michael Booth, Springtown, TX, Raymond Prescott, Lake Worth, TX, and Carrie Prescott, Denton, TX; her parents, Mr. And Mrs. Jessie Wycoff Sr., Garnett; her sisters, Lavona Gadd, Lake Worth, TX, and Kathy Smith, River Oaks, TX; her brothers, Jessie Wycoff, Jr., Tucson, AZ, and Tracey Wycoff, Lake Worth, TX; and eleven grandchildren. The family suggests memorial contributions to AIDS research, which may be left in care of the funeral home. Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.” “Earl Hermreck 1938-2003 Mass of Christian Burial for Earl Hermreck, 64, Nipomo, CA, was held Friday, May 23, 2003, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Nipomo with Rev. James Henry officiating. Interment was in Santa Maria Cemetery. Mr. Hermreck died May 19 at Marion Medical Center in Santa Maria, CA, after a lengthy illness. Earl Hermreck was born August 11, 1938, at Richmond, KS, the son of Chris and Elizabeth Hermreck, where he was a farmer. He moved to California in 1959 and went to work as a teamster with M.J. Hermreck, Inc., retiring in 1992 due to illness. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Nipomo Men’s Club. Earl was an avid gardener and will be remembered for his beautiful roses. Mr. Hermreck was preceded in death by his parents, Chris and Elizabeth Hermreck; and his brother, Michael and Donald. Earl is survived by his wife, Sandra; his daughter, Cinda Barr, Seattle, WA; his sisters, Wilma Meier, Nipomo, CA, LaVern Griner, Richmond, KS, and Eileen Miller, Garnett; his brother, Conrad Hermreck, Richmond; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.” “David J. Schrock 1920-2003 Funeral services for David J. Schrock, 83, Ruston, AR, formerly of Garnett, were May 21, 2003, at Grace Bible Baptist Church with Revs. Jerry Smelley and Spud Rodriques officiating. Interment was in Liberty Hill Cemetery. Mr. Schrock died May 19 at his home. David J. Schrock was born January 31, 1920, at Arthur, IL. He was a carpenter and painter. He was part owner of Schrock’s Body Shop in Garnett in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. Mr. Schrock is survived by his wife, Dorothy M. Schrock, Ruston; his daughters, Peggy Smelley and her husband, Jerry, Mt. Olive, AR, and Patricia Albritton and her husband, Dick, Choudrant, AR; his brothers, L.J. Schrock, Sullivan, IL, and Dan Schrock, Phoenix, AZ; his sisters, Susie Herschberger, Arthur, IL, Cora Yutzy, Meminnville, OR, and Ella Mast, Myerstown, PA; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Casketbearers were Shane Bell, Jamie Bell, Jared Fallin, Luke Polk, Jonathan Schrock, and Billy Caldwell.
