George Pasley officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, CA. Mr. Robinson died Monday, January 20, at Golden Heights Living Center, Garnett. Clarence Otis Robinson was born October 26, 1907, at Belpre, KS, the son of Clarence O. and Josephine (Baier) Robinson. He farmed in western Kansas until 1961. He then moved to California, where he was groundskeeper for California State University at Los Angeles. He moved to Garnett in 1975, where he has lived since. Otis was a member of the Garnett Presbyterian Church, AARP, and the Garnett Senior Center. Otis and Ruby Celestine Fouts were married on August 19, 1927. She preceded him in death on November 10, 1971. He then married Lucille (Pudge) Keplinger on May 11, 1974. She preceded him in death on July 17, 2001. Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby; his second wife, Lucille; his daughter, Eileen Gifford; his parents, Clarence O. and Josephine Robinson; and one brother. Otis is survived by his son, Harold Robinson, Blackwell, OK; his step-son, Renny Keplinger, Hilltop Lakes, TX; his son-in-law, Gene Gifford, Bushton, KS; his step-daughter, Dena Sue Keplinger Schone, Broken Arrow, OK; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. The family received friends on Friday, January 24, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Garnett Presbyterian Church, which may be left in care of the funeral home.
