Military honors will be by Garnett VFW and American Legion. Mr. Badders died Tuesday, October 14, in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Dallas, TX. Ronald Lee Badders was born January 6, 1941, at Garnett, the son of Darwin and Roberta Mae (McGinnis) Badders. He graduated from Garnett High School with the Class of 1958. He served with the United States Navy from 1961 until 1966. Ronald had lived in Texas for the past 25 years. His hobbies included raising Thoroughbred horses. He was in automobile sales. Mr. Badders was preceded in death by his father, Darwin Badders in 1977. Ronald is survived by his mother, Roberta Mae Badders, Ottawa, KS; his brothers, Darwin Badders, Uniontown, KS, Clifford Badders, Ottawa, KS, Claude Badders, Brighton, TN, Gerald Badders, Osawatomie, KS, Donald Badders, Iola, KS, Douglas Badders, Colony, KS, Rodney Badders, Marshalville, OH, and John Badders, Olathe, KS; and his sisters, Donna Cannady, Ottawa, KS, Delores Willis, Wellsville, KS, and Norma Tahash, Redding, CA. The family will greet friends on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home before proceeding to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Ronald Badders Memorial Fund, the beneficiary of which will be announced at a later date.
