Interment is in Highland Cemetery, Ottawa. Ms. Louderback died Wednesday, January 22, 2003, at St. Francis Hospital, Topeka. Allie Fae Louderback was born December 14, 1975, at Ottawa, KS, the daughter of George Louderback, Jr. and Clara (Neibauer) Louderback. She lived in Pomona while attending school. She, then, moved to Vassar, where she lived for one year before moving to Topeka, where she lived the past four years. Allie graduated from Pomona High School with the Class of 1994. She attended Emporia State University and Allen County Community College. In 1999, she graduated as an honor student from Topeka Technical College with an Associate of Arts degree in Accounting. She was currently an accountant with Advanced Information Systems in Topeka, where she has been employed the last two years. Previously, she was an accountant for Metal Specialities in Topeka for two years. She served as secretary of Topeka Tech Student Council. Ms. Louderback is survived by her parents, George Louderback, Jr. and Clara (Neibauer) Louderback, Vassar, KS; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Brian and Yolanda Louderback, Gardner, KS, and Allen and Kelly Louderback, Ottawa; her aunt and uncle, Pam and Rick Fischer, Ottawa; her great-uncle and aunt, Elmer and Velma Louderback, Princeton, KS; her great-aunt, Gladys Welton, Ottawa; two nieces, one nephew, and several cousins. The family received friends on Sunday, January 26, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Pomona High School Girls’ Athletics, which may be left in care of the funeral home. Dengel and Son Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.” Page 3, Column 3: “Charles Virgil French 1923-2003 Funeral services for Charles Virgil French, 80, Colony, KS, formerly of Garnett, were Tuesday, January 28, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. at Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel, Garnett, with Rev. Gary Benjamin officiating. Interment was in Goodrich Cemetery, Goodrich, KS. Mr. French died January 23 at his home. Charles Virgil French was born April 11, 1922, at Goodrich, KS, the son of Raymond and Helen (Holt) French. He grew up in the Goodrich area, attended Goodrich Grade School and graduated from Parker Rural High School in 1939. He farmed until he entered the United States Army in 1942, serving in Italy, where he received the Bronze Star. He served as a sergeant. Charles worked in the oil fields around Garnett for forty years before retiring in 1988. He loved horses and entered many reining shows. He also had a herd of Angus cattle. Charles and Delma Crosswhite were married June 16, 1948. They enjoyed collecting and selling antiques. Mr. French was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Helen French; and his sister, Almeta Prentice. Charles is survived by his wife, Delma French, Colony; his son, Michael French, Winfield, KS: his grandson, Colten French, Winfield, KS: his brother, Dale French, Casa Grande, AZ; and his sister, Faye Robbins, Temple, TX. Music was provided by Laura Parks, organist. Recorded musical selections included ‘How Great Thou Art’ by Tennessee Ernie Ford and ‘Go Rest High On That Mountain’ by Vince Gill. Casketbearers were Ray Arnett, Raymond Arnett, Claron Benjamin, Glen Hermreck, Delton Hodgson, and Rick King. The family received friends on Monday, January 27, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Colony Fire Department or Colony Lion’s Club.
