Interment was in Bethel Cemetery. Mr. Miller died suddenly on Friday, December 17, at his office in Harris. Mark Wilson Miller was born January 17, 1961, at Anderson County Hospital in Garnett, the son of Donald W. Miller and Shirley A. (Wilson) Miller. Mark never married but had a fondness for children, especially handicapped ones, that was unique. He will be remembered by many for his hugs, airplane rides, and many other things. Mark always said he was going to care for his parents when they got old, and he certainly did, but God had other plans. We believe the Lord knows what is best, for him and those of us who are left, although it is very difficult to understand. Mark was self-employed, owning and managing Four Season Trucking. The motto on all his business cards and on his truck was “God First-Family Second-Work Third”, and he believed it. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin O. Miller and Martha Viola (Cherry) Miller, and Charles Wilson and Bertha (White) Wilson; and his sister, Martha Joann Miller. Mark is survived by his parents, Donald and Shirley Miller; his sister, Myra Ann Miller of Troy, OH; his nephews, Justin and Lance Miller; other family members and a host of special friends. The family received friends on Tuesday, December 21, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to a children’s hospital of the donor’s choice.
