“Martha J. Noyes

1938-2004

Funeral services for Martha J. Noyes, 66, LaHarpe, KS, were Thursday, June 3, 2004, at

Waugh-Yokum and Friskel Chapel, Iola, KS, with Rev. Gary Benjamin officiating.  Mrs. Noyes

died June 1, at her home.

Martha J. Noyes was born February 23, 1938, at Ottawa, KS, the daughter of Ivan and Lucy

(Noble) Ball.  She graduated from Ottawa High School and then nurse’s school in Kansas City.

Martha and Ronald L. Noyes were married January 10, 1959, at Ottawa.  They lived in Kansas

City, Garnett, and then Ottawa.  She worked as an L.P.N. in hospitals and nursing homes in

Garnett and Ottawa.  They moved to LaHarpe in 2001, and he preceded her in death on October

18, 2002.  

She was a member of the Iola Elks Lodge.

Mrs. Noyes is survived by her sons, Don Noyes, Welda, KS, and Rich Noyes, LaHarpe, KS; and

three grandchildren.

Waugh-Yokum and Friskel Chapel was in charge of arrangements.”
