Gary Benjamin officiating. Interment was in Garnett Cemetery. Mr. Ennis died Saturday, June 12, at Chanute. Bryan Kethal Ennis was born May 12, 1961, at Garnett, the son of Billy Kethal Ennis and Betty (Hughes) Teter. He grew up in Garnett and Coalgate, OK, living in Garnett after graduating from Garnett High School in 1979 until moving to Chanute in 2002. He was a pipefitter and welder. He was the father of six children. Bryan was married to Mary Cole, who preceded him in death on April 1, 2000. Five children were born to this union. Mr. Ennis was also preceded in death by his son, Joshua Dewayne Ennis on March 8, 1994; his father, Billy Kethal Ennis on April 26, 1990; his grandfathers, Harrison Ennis on March 24, 1997, and Lee Hughes on December 7, 1992; and his brothers, William Terrance Ennis on June 8, 1960, and Bart Kelly Ennis on July 26, 1986. Bryan is survived by his sons, B.J. Cole, Chanute, KS, and Justin Ennis, Garnett; his daughters, Jamie Rockers, California, Amanda Ennis, Garnett; and Elizabeth Ennis, Garnett; his mother, Betty Teter, Garnett; his stepfather, Charles Nickelson, Garnett; his sisters, Brenda Hermreck, Garnett, and Bridget Hendrix, San Antonio, TX; his grandmothers, Lucille Ennis, Coalgate, OK, and Geraldine Hughes, Richmond, KS: his grandson, T.J. Cole; and his stepmother, Janet Ennis, Coalgate, OK. Musical selections included 'If I Had Only Known', 'The Thunder Rolls', and 'Knockin' On Heaven's Door'. Casketbearers were Jason Hermreck, Jeremy Hermreck, Jim Hermreck, Shawn Morrison, Dorman Teter, and Darrel Wilson. The family received friends on Wednesday, June 16, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials will be used to help defray funeral expenses. Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements." "David Loren Page 1944-2003 Private inurnment services for David Loren Page, who died at age 59 on November 16, 2003, at Akron, OH, after a long battle with cancer, are to be held at the Garnett Cemetery. His family will greet friends on Monday, June 21, in the Park Plaza North Clubhouse after 2:00 p.m." Page 5, Column 2: "Homer C. Schmoe 1926-2004 Funeral services for Homer C. Schmoe, 78, Ottawa, KS, were Thursday, June 17, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. at Dengel and Son Mortuary, Ottawa, with Pastor Richard Dunn officiating. Interment was in Highland Cemetery, Ottawa. Mr. Schmoe died Tuesday, June 15, at Meadowbrook Rehabilitation Hospital, Gardner, KS. Homer C. Schmoe was born February 12, 1926, at Ottawa, the son of Marion Albert and Rozella Hope (McCann) Schmoe. He graduated from Rantoul High School with the Class of 1945 and lived in Rantoul, KS, for 35 years. He moved to Ottawa in 1961. Homer worked almost 20 years in the manufacturing of mobile homes for Boise Cascade, known as Bendix and later as Commadore. In his early years, following his schooling, he worked on a farm, and later at Heart of America filling station. He also worked for Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Ottawa, and for Franklin County in road maintenance. He served in the Army National Guard from 1949 until 1957, attaining the rank of Specialist 4. Homer and Judy R. Pearson were married March 30, 1962. They later divorced. Mr. Schmoe was preceded in death by his mother, Rozella Hope Schmoe; and his sister, Donnie Nichols. Homer is survived by his son, Christopher Schmoe, Donahue, IA; his father, Marion Albert Schmoe, Richmond, KS: his companion, Vera Grey, Ottawa, KS; his brothers, Floyd Schmoe, George Schmoe, and Dale Schmoe, all of Ottawa, and Merlin Schmoe, Baldwin City, KS; his sisters, Gladys Butler, Hazel Guyett, Virgie Sink, and Janette Milbern, all of Ottawa, Myrtle Bones, Gardner, KS, Mollie Lee, Richmond, KS, Jean Jones, Princeton, KS, Dorothy Gilpin, Kansas City, MO, and Audra Detwiler, Vassar, KS; four grandchildren, one great-grandson, and many nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials to Odyssey Hospice, which may be left in care of the funeral home. Dengel and Son Mortuary was in charge of arrangements."
