Al Areheart officiating. Graveside interment services were at 2:30 p.m. at Garnett Cemetery. Mr. Williams died Tuesday, June 20, at his home. Robert Eugene Williams was born April 4, 1942, at Waverly, the son of Floyd and Edna Mae (Hess) Williams. He graduated from Garnett High School with the Class of 1960. He was a foreman at the Kansas Corporation facility in Emporia. The primary focus of Bob’s life was his family. He enjoyed woodworking, traveling, church, friends, and his former classmates. He was also involved in the Cub Scout and Boy Scout programs, having served as Cub Master to Pack #169 at Village School in Emporia, and in other positions. He was an active member of the Twelfth Avenue Baptist Church. Bob and Carolyn Jean Landis were married December 29, 1961, at Garnett. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Mae Williams; and his granddaughter Bredgette Micalla. Bob is survived by his wife, Carolyn, of the home; his sons, Jeffrey Brett Williams and his wife Debra of Emporia, Stuart Mitchell Williams of Topeka, Philip Heath Williams and his wife Tawnya of Olathe, and Jeremy Robb Williams and his wife Pam of Gardner; his father and stepmother, Floyd and Doris (Hicks) Williams, Garnett; his brother, Larry Alan Williams and his wife Sandi Seitz of Cameron, MO; and his grandchildren, Ashleigh Noele, Brenna Michelle, Austin Heath, Brett Mitchell, Brettany Michalla, Zachary Landon, Spencer Robert, Brecklyn Millen, Taylen Marae, and Carson Wayne Williams. Music was provided by Joann Gimple, who accompanied the congregational singing of “It Is Well”, and Tim and Kristi Wright, who sang “What A Friend We Have In Jesus”. “Amazing Grace” was sung at the graveside. Casketbearers in Emporia were Jeffrey Williams, Larry Williams, Stuart Williams, Philip Williams, Jeremy Williams, John Mast, Jerry Waddell, and A.J. Schierling. Casketbearers in Garnett were Roger Hastert, Rick Horn, Vern Hastert, Marvin Brown, Butch Irwin, Jim Hicks, Don Stockton, and Roger Wheeler. The family greeted friends on Thursday evening from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Twelfth Avenue Baptist Church. Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.” “Chelsie Ann Spain 1985-2004 Funeral services for Chelsie Ann Spain, 19, Kincaid, KS, were Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. at Crest High School Gymnasium, Colony, KS, with Pastor Steve Bubna officiating. Interment was in Lone Elm Cemetery, Lone Elm, KS. Miss Spain died Friday, July 23, at LeRoy, KS.
