“Agnes Watkins

1911-2004

Mass of Christian Burial for Agnes Watkins, 92, Spring Valley, CA, was held at St. Stephen’s

Catholic Church, Valley Center, CA.  Inurnment was in Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, Point

Loma, CA.  Mrs. Watkins died May 26, 2004.

Agnes Watkins was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Margaret Peine; her sisters,

Rita Peine, Rose DeSchepper, and Mary Anderson; and her brothers, Virgil, Earl, and Mark.

Agnes is survived by her husband, Roy Watkins (Ret. Navy CPO) of the home; her daughters,

Margaret Bolshazy of Escondido, CA, and Rozmarie Strauss of Irvine, CA; her sons, Robert

Watkins of Kapaau, HI, Edward Watkins of Spring Valley, CA, and David Watkins of San Rafael,

CA; her eight grandchildren; and her brother-in-law, Earl Anderson of Garnett.

All Faiths Mortuary and Crematory Services was in charge of arrangements.”



“Edward H.Yoder

1932-2004

Funeral services for Edward H. Yoder, 71, Partridge, were Sunday, November 7, 2004, at 2:00

p.m. at Cedar Crest Amish Mennonite Church with David Yoder, David Miller, and Paul Miller

officiating.  Interment was in West Center Cemetery.  Mr. Yoder died Thursday, November 4, at

Hutchinson Hospital, Hutchinson, KS.

Edward H. Yoder was born December 20, 1932, at Lovington, IL, the son of Reuben Henry and

Alma (Schlabach) Yoder.  He was a longtime Partridge resident.  He was a farmer and was owner

of Ed’s Home Improvement.  Edward was member of and pastor of Center Amish Mennonite

Church.

Edward and Laura Ellen Helmuth were married September 6, 1956, in Nappanee, IN.  She

preceded him in death on August 7, 2004.

Mr. Yoder was also preceded in death by his father, Reuben Henry Yoder; his brother, Reuben

Henry Yoder, Jr.; and his sister, Ruby Hershberger.

Edward is survived by his daughters, Marijane and husband Titus Nisley of Hutchinson, Anna

Jolene and husband Sanford Yoder of Partridge, and Janice Renee Yoder of Partridge; his mother,

Alma Schlabach Yoder; his brother, Howard Yoder of Arthur, IL; his sister, Katie Marie Miller of

Arthur, IL; and his grandchildren, Shawn Adrian, Eric Philip, Jason Edward, Kyle David, and

Heide Renee Yoder, all of Partridge.

Memorials may be sent to Center Amish Mennonite Church, 7213 West Mills Road, Hutchinson,

KS 78501.

Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson, was in charge of arrangements.”
