“Wilbur Boyd

1917-2005

Wilbur Boyd, 88, of Blue Mound, died Saturday, May 21, 2005, at Pine Crest Nursing Home,

Humboldt.

He was born February 21, 1917, at Blue Mound, the son of Charles and Alma (Orm) Boyd. 

Wilbur was self-employed as a carpenter and painter.

Mr. Boyd was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Alma Boyd; seven brothers, his twin

Wilmer, and Elvin, Guy, Lloyd, Clyde, Myron, and Vernon Boyd; and his sister, Zola Sisson

Rodrock.

Wilbur is survived by his sisters, Ivalea “Pat” Duke and Leona Fraser, both of Lancaster, CA; and

two sisters-in-law, Polly Boyd of Cerritos, CA, and Mae Boyd of Pleasanton.

Mr. Boyd was cremated.  Private family inurnment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Blue

Mound.

Coffel-Schneider Funeral Home, Mound City, was in charge of arrangements.”
