Interment is at 2:00 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, Baldwin City. Mrs. Betts died Saturday, January 22, at Anderson County Hospital Long Term Care. Visitation was Tuesday evening, 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.” “Jack Fink Memorial services for Jack Fink, Garnett, are Thursday, January 27, 2005, at Garnett Presbyterian Church.” “Marjorie Welsh 1913-2005 Funeral services for Marjorie Welsh, 92, Garnett, were Monday, January 17, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. at Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gary Benjamin officiating. Interment was in Kincaid Cemetery, Kincaid. Mrs. Welsh died Friday, January 14, at Anderson County Hospital. Marjorie Welsh was born January 11, 1913, at Selma, the daughter of John T. and Ethel May (Harvey) Steele. She attended Cleveland School and Kincaid Rural High School, and graduated from Garnett High School after the family moved to Garnett. Marjorie was a member of the Kincaid Garden Club. She loved to garden and loved flowers. Marjorie and Olin Welsh were married December 6, 1933, at Erie. He preceded her in death on October 14, 1987. Mrs. Welsh was also preceded in death by her infant son, Gary Edwin Welsh; her parents, John and Ethel Steele; two sisters and one brother. Marjorie is survived by her sons, Gerald Welsh and his wife, LaNelle, of Kincaid, and Ronald Welsh and his wife, Patricia, of Stillwater, OK; her daughter, Leila Thompson and her husband, Howard, of Garnett; her grandchildren, Christy and Kendall McGhee, Daniel and Carla Welsh, Don Welsh, Lester and Debbie Welsh, Pam and Andy Yoder, Beth and Bobby Davis, Chardel and Mark Hastings, Joleata and Roger Kent, Rick and Connie Thompson, Janell and Ron Yelm, Michelle and Todd Patrick, Jacquelyn Welsh, Lindsey Welsh, and Austin Welsh; 32 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Music was provided by Jeanine Zentner, organist, and Mark Hastings, soloist. Musical selections included “Amazing Grace”, “Take My Hand”, “Precious Lord”, and “How Great Thou Art”. Casketbearers were Lester Welsh, Dan Welsh, Don Welsh, Rick Thompson, Austin Welsh, and Robert Steele. Honorary casketbearers were Christy McGhee, Pam Yoder, Chardel Hastings, Janell Yelm, Joleata Kent, Beth Davis, Michelle Patrick, Jacquelyn Welsh, and Lindsey Welsh.
