Jorgensen 1932-2005 Graveside services and interment for Kenneth O. Jorgensen, 73, Kincaid, were Thursday, September 8, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. at Odessa Cemetery, Odessa, MO, with Rev. Vern Belew officiating. Mr. Jorgensen died Tuesday, September 6, at Anderson County Hospital in Garnett. Kenneth O. Jorgensen was born August 14, 1932, at Urbana, MO, the son of Louis Walter and Clara Utha Jorgensen. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Jorgensen was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Kenneth is survived by his special friend and companion, Bonnie Jean Kersley of Kincaid; his son, Michael Feighert of Kincaid; his daughters, Melissa Harris of Mound City and Rhonda Brants of Holden, MO; and his grandchildren, Dustin, Tiffany, Tabitha, Danielle, Rachelle, and Christian. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Kincaid Fair Association. Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.” Page 5, Column 3: “Catherine M. Jasper 1946-2005 Memorial services for Catherine M. Jasper, 59, Garnett, were Thursday, September 8, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gary Benjamin officiating. Mrs. Jasper died Tuesday, September 6, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Catherine M. Jasper was born May 5, 1946, at Garnett, the daughter of Cecil L., and Dorothy Annabelle (Smith) Weems. She attended Garnett High School. Cathy and Jerry Jasper were married March 11, 1968, at Miami, OK. He survives, of the home. Mrs. Jasper is also survived by her daughters, Marcene Annabelle Jasper of Paola and Melissa Marie Hiner of Garnett; her brothers, Ronnie Weems of Ottawa, Merle Weems of Big Cabin, OK; Verle Weems of Chanute, Richard Weems of Spring Hill, and Eric Weems of Orrie, MO; her sisters, Pattie Brown of Topeka, Luann Woodard of Fontana, and Cecillie Stipp of Pagosa Springs, CO; her father and stepmother, Cecil and Luella Weems of Garnett; and her mother-in-law, Marcene Jasper of Garnett. Musical selections included recorded music “Go Rest High On That Mountain” by Vince Gill, “Amazing Grace”, and “The Old Rugged Cross”. The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
