Mr. Noe was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and had lived in Pomona since 1975. He was born at Williamsburg to Earl Hobart and Mary Elizabeth (Decker Kennard) Noe on September 24, 1923. Warren was married to Carol Higdon of Richmond in 1950. They were later divorced. Warren married Rose Bolton and she preceded him in death. Warren and Bernice Turley Burris were married in November 1975. She preceded him in death in October 1998. Warren is survived by two daughters, Vicky Overman and her husband, Brian of Ottawa, KS, and Lyn Noe of Hurst, TX; two nieces, Jackee Young and her husband, Roy of Melvern, KS, and Pam Spencer of Los Angeles, CA; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Warren was preceded in death by his parents, his twin sister, Willa Spencer and another sister, Louise Myers; and his son, John Noe. Warren spent most of his working years as a truck driver for Richmond Truck Line, Bennett Creamery, Fogle Truck Line, and Killough Construction Company. Warren also hauled gravel with his own dump truck. Warren enjoyed traveling, fishing, refinishing furniture and visiting with his friends at the Dari Bar in Pomona. The little ones in the family especially enjoyed sitting on Uncle Warren's lap, and he was happy to have them. They seemed to have a special rapport. Mr. Noe was cremated. Private family services will be held at a later date. The family requests memorials to the Franklin County Diabetes Association. Dengel and Son Mortuary, Ottawa, is in charge of arrangements." "Robert Warren Dietrich 1921-2005 Funeral services for Robert Warren Dietrich, 84, Los Altos, CA, are Saturday, December 17, 2005, at 1:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Richmond. Interment is in Richmond Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the church following the committal service. A complete obituary will appear in the next Advocate." Page 5, Column 4: "Amanda Clarissa Morris 1923-2005 Graveside services and interment for Amanda Clarissa Morris, 82, Garnett, were Thursday, December 15, 2005, at Garnett Cemetery with Rev. Gary Benjamin officiating. Mrs. Morris died Friday, December 9, at Anderson County Hospital. Amanda Clarissa Morris was born May 28, 1923, at Bedford, IA, the daughter of Hiram F. and Irene A. (Prinzing) Cline. She moved to Garnett at the age of nine. She was a projectionist at the Garnett Movie Theater in the early 1940's. Amanda and William Glenn Morris, Sr. were married August 3, 1947, at Kansas City, KS. This union was blessed with three children. He preceded her in death on February 22, 1998. Following her marriage to William, the couple lived away from Garnett until returning in 1956. She was a leader of the local Cub and Boy Scouts and the Camp Fire for girls for several years. After raising her family, Amanda worked outside the home cleaning the Post Office and as a leasing agent for the C.D. Schulte Agency in Garnett. Mrs. Morris was also preceded in death by her brother, Hiram Fredrick Cline, Jr.; and her sister, Lorene Moore. Amanda is survived by her sons, William Glenn Morris, Jr. of Wichita and Alvin Fredrick Morris and his wife Deanna of Greeley; her daughter, Mary Irene Morris of Garnett; her sister-in-law, Eva Cline of Garnett; and her grandson, William Hunter Morris of Paola. Casketbearers were William Hunter Morris, Dustin Johnson, Terry Morrison, Jeff Manspeaker, John Helms, and Tyler Reynolds. Farris-Feuerborn Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements."
