Reynolds, was born in Morgan county, Indiana, Nov. 17, 1828. She moved to Rock Island county, Illinois with her parents when she was seven years of age where she grew to womanhood. She was married to John Hobart (Hobert) July 31, 1845. To this union ten children were born, one of which died in infancy. Those left to mourn her death are Jane Runner of Marshalltown, Ia., Eli Hobert of Munday, Texas, James Hobert of Greeley, Kans., Angeline Hizey and Wm. Hobert of Mildred, Mary E. Beeding, Anna Marsh and John and Charley Hobert of Kincaid. She was converted in her youth and has lived faithful ever since. She came to Anderson county, Kansas, with her husband and family in 1880 where she has lived every since. Her husband crossed over to the life beyond twenty-three years ago, where she has gone to meet him. Since his death she has lived with and been faithfully cared for by her son, Charley, until the Angel of death relieved her from her suffering August 7, 1819, at the age of 89 years, 8 months and 20 days. Funeral services were held in Kincaid Friday morning at the Presbyterian church, conducted by Rev. Herold of Selma and interment was made in the city cemetery. -----
