Came to Anderson County, KS between 1856 and 1860 with wife Sophia (Spriggs),and sons John William Brown born 1851 and Oliver Brown born 1856/57. Joseph Clark came to Anderson County, KS in 1868 from IN with his second wife Sarah (Jordan) and their children along with Joseph's daughter (by his first wife Nancy Dodson) Elizabeth Clark born 1849 in IN. John William Brown and Elizabeth Clark married in Garnett,Anderson,KS in 1870.
