Michael COLLINS (1834 - 1913), born in Giles Co., VA to parents of Irish descent. Married Susannah BOLTON (1842 - 1912) in 1862, Sullivan Co., TN. They wound up in Welda, Anderson County, KS, where they are buried, and there is an account of their family in a book published by the local Historical Society. Michael and Susannah's children were James Michael, William Henry, Jacob Joseph, Beatie Manelious, Andrew Ballard and David Absalom.
