How to Submit Queries
Please read all the instructions before submitting a query!

Enter a Query HERE!

You are invited to submit a query for your Anderson County ancestors. Anyone with questions about their Anderson County ancestors is invited to participate. Please keep in mind that your query must have an Anderson County connection or it will not be posted. A few other guidelines (see below) should also be followed.

If your submitted query needs changes or deletion, please contact the County Coordinator

Some Basic Query Guidelines
Your query must have a definite Anderson County connection. Include the county name, "Anderson", in the body of your post so I know the query has reached me correctly. Queries that cannot immediately be identified as Anderson County queries will be deleted.

Please make your query specific and do not write lengthy narratives. I reserve the right to edit excessively long queries for brevity.

Send query corrections, email address changes, etc. to the County Coordinator

You may submit as many queries as you like.

Advanced Query Guidelines
If you host a personal web site dedicated to the family of your query, submit the URL so it can be linked to your query.

If you have a picture of persons included in your query, send me the URL for the location of the picture and I will link it into your query (.JPG formats recommended). Linked pictures cannot be stored on this site.

If you find other related sites on the Internet that you want your Query Page linked to, send me the URL.

If you have transcribed cemetery records, census information, vital records (births, deaths, marriages), tax records, land records, or other primary source information about Anderson County, please consider submitting it to the USGenWeb Archives. Contact Kenneth Thomas, KSGenWeb Archives Coordinator, for more information.
