Angola, a village of Labette county, is located in Canada township, on the Missouri Pacific R. R., 23 miles southwest of Oswego, the county seat. It has telegraph and express offices and a money order postoffice. The town was laid out in 1886, C. H. Kimball and Lee Clark being the promoters. The population in 1910 was 1OO.
