Basehor, a village of Leavenworth county, is a station on the Missouri Pacific R. R. about 10 miles south of Leavenworth city, and 2 miles from the Wyandotte county line. It has a bank, a money order postoffice with one rural route, express and telegraph offices, telephone connections, and is a trading and shipping point for that section of the county. The population in 1910 was 225.
