Boyd, a village of Eureka township, Barton county, is a station on the Missouri Pacific R. R., 4 miles west of Hoisington and 12 miles northwest of Great Bend, the county seat. It has a money order postoffice, and is a trading and shipping point for the neighborhood. The population was 40 in 1910.
