Burdett, a town in Browns Grove township, Pawnee county, is a station on the division of the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe R. R. that runs from Larned to Jetmore 24 miles west of Larned. It has a bank, a money order postoffice with one rural route, telegraph and express offices, a grain elevator, hotel, some good mercantile houses, and is the chief shipping and supply point in the western part of the county. The population in 1910 was 300.
