Rees, Rollin R., Congressman, was born at Camden, Preble county, Ohio, in 1865, and came with his parents to Ottawa county, Kan., in 1867. He attended the public schools, graduated at the Kansas Agricultural College and studied law, being admitted to the bar in 1887. He was county attorney of Ottawa county; was elected judge of the 30th judicial district in 1903; reëlected to the same office in 1907, and was elected to Congress in 1910.
