Obituary of MARGUERITE B. ADDIS
Marguerite B. Addis, 80, 2401 Broadway, a lifelong resident of Parsons, died at 2:52 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 1992, in the emergency room of the Labette County Medical Center. she had been in failing health for the past three years; however, her death was unexpected. 
She was born December 4, 1911, in Parsons to Arthur "Bud" and Alta (White) Every. She grew up and attended schools in Parsons. She and Virgil Addis were married June 1, 1930, in Parsons. They operated the Addis Refrigeration Service. 
He died February 2, 1968. 
Mrs. Addis was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. Survivors include: a daughter, Virginia Addis of the home; a half-brother, Joe Every of Chicago; a half-sister, Ruth Kidd of Neodesha. She was preceded in death by an infant son in 1939. 
The service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Burris-Carson-Wall Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. The Family suggests memorials to either the Faith United Methodist Church or the Wesley United Methodist Church.
