HILL who married a Maria (sometimes Mary) M. DORSEY. They had Gertrude who md Leon A. HEATH; Edith who md J. W. BARNES, and Edmund or Edwin Jr. who md Cecile REED. All these children married in Parsons, Labette County, Kansas. Edmund (Sr) & Maria are buried in Parsons, Kansas - as well as Leon A. Heath and two of J.W. & Edith's children. There may be more of the family buried there, too - who knows. But - Edmund was born Jul 1840 in Pawlet, Rutland County, Vermont and died 23 Dec 1908 in Parsons, Labette County, Kansas. Maria was born Apr 1844 in Vermont and died in Parsons - 9 Mar 1909. All three of their children were born in Vermont - they migrated to Kansas mid 1870's or so. They appear on the 1870 Rutland County Vermont census - and then on the Labette County Kansas 1880 census. I believe Edmund (Sr) to be the brother of my gg grandfather, Phineas, who was also born in Vermont, and he and his wife, Eliza, also migrated to Labette County.
