Obituary of LABON WASHNGTON MALLORY
MALLORY FUNERAL THURSDAY

Funeral services for Labon Washington Mallory, prominent cattleman of Allen, who died Monday afternoon at 12:15 o'clock at the Newman Memorial County hospital, will be held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at the Sutton funeral home. Rev. W. D. McMullen, pastor of the Free Methodist church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Allen cemetery.

Labon Mallory was born January 19, 1861 at Cameron, Mo. He came to Kansas when he was 15 years old and lived at Eskridge.

Mr. Mallory was married to Ollie Ethington in 1882.  Mr. and Mrs. Mallory moved to Allen in 1887. Mrs. Mallory died April 28, 1917. Mr. Mallory is survived by five sons, Leroy, Guy, Perry, Sam and Riley; two daughters, Mrs. Marcia
Boosinger and Mrs. Sarah Meachon; and two sisters, Mrs. Leslie Cooper, of Colorado, and
Mrs. Harrison, of California.
