Obituary of DR. WILLIAM MILLER
Dr. William Miller, Olpe resident, who was born in Germany, August 10, 1864, died at
noon today at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Francis O'Donnell, in Hartford. Dr. Miller
had been a veterinarian, practicing a part of the 15 years he had lived in Olpe and all
of the 25 years spent on a farm near Olpe. Dr. Miller is survived by his wife and 11
sons and daughters, children of a former marriage. The children are: Mrs. Elizabeth
Lowenstein, Olpe; Peter Miller, Lacona, Iowa; Mrs. Lena Ernest (Ernst), Kansas City, Mo.;
Sister Batista, Memphis, Tenn.; Mrs. Margaret Snyder, Lacona, Iowa; George Miller,
Lacona, Iowa; Sister Arnolda, NewAlbany, Indiana; Joseph Miller, Topeka; Mrs. Clara
Nuessen, Olpe; August Miller, Emporia; Mrs. Anna O'Donnell, Hartford. One daughter
died 34 years ago. Also surviving are a brother and sister in Germany, two sisters-in-law
in Germany; one sister-in-law in Wichita, and 37 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at St. Joseph's church, Olpe, Thursday morning at 9 o'clock.
Rev. Father Felician will have charge of the services. Burial will be in Maydale Cemetery.
