Funeral Card for HENRY C. STRECKER |
Henry Strecker, son of John Peter and Christina (Dumler)
Strecker, was born November 15, 1884, in Russell County, near Milberger,
Kansas. He departed this life on February 14, 1976, at Hoisington, Kansas,
at the age of 91 years, 2 months and 29 days. Henry lived nearly his entire life in Russell County. He grew to manhood on the Strecker family farm and received his education in the schools of Russell County. The family moved from the Milberger area to a farm north of Russell and it was here that Henry continued his involvement in farming activities. On September 21, 1906, he was united in marriage to Minnie
B. Stielow at Russell and this union was blessed with four children,
Herman, Ernest, Carl and Marie. Henry moved to the Stielow homestead south
of Paradise to make his home and until he moved to Russell in 1944 he was
very involved in his farming and livestock operation. |
