Obituary of HERMAN RADKE
Herman Radke died Sunday, September 29, 1974. He was the son of Edward Radke and Anna Elizabeth Karst.

Born August 15, 1903 in Barton County Kansas, he was baptized on September 13, 1974 in the Lutheran faith and confirmed on March 24, 1918.

November 22, 1929, Herman was united in marriage to Eugenie Teresa Dumler. This marriage was blessed with one son and one daughter.  Herman was engaged in business with his son as an implement dealer for Massey-Ferguson. He had been in the implement business since 1925 at Milberger.

He is survived by his widow, one son, Harlan, of Milberger; one daughter, Mrs. Leland (Angeline) Deutsch of Hoisington, a sister Mrs. Theo (Martha) Nuss, Hoisington; four grandchildren, Steven, Kent, and Kathryn Deutsch and Marsha Radke.

His parents preceded him in death in 1966. One sister Lydia, preceded him in death in 1956.
Funeral services were Wednesday, October 2, at 2:00 p.m. at the United Emmanuel Lutheran Church at Milberger. Pastor Robert S. Krier was in charge of services. 

Casket Bearers were Larry Radke, Hubert Radke, Harvey Radke, Otto Radke, Constantine Karst and Martin Morganstern.
Interment was in the Milberger Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were by Nicholson and Ricke Funeral Home.
Devoted to his family helpful to his neighbors, faithful to his church, considerate and honest, he gained respect and esteem to all who knew him.
