Obituary of LEROY W. DUTT |
LeRoy W. Dutt, formerly of Russell County, died
Wednesday, September 12, 2001 at Lee's Summit Hospital. LeRoy was born February 8, 1914 in Russell county. He was active in the grocery business, managing Safeway and Dillions grocery stores in the Midwest, primarily in Kansas. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, of Raytown, a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II. Survivors include his wife, Carrell Dutt of the home; one daughter, Pamela Bell, Sacramento, California; sons, Rod L. Dutt, Raytown, Missouri, Greg J. Dutt, Abilene, Stan B. Dutt, Denver, Colorado; one sister, Bessie Harbaugh, Russell; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Services were at 3 p.m. Saturday, September 15, at First United
Methodist Church, Raytown. Arrangements were by D.W. Newcomer's Sons Floral Hill Chapel, Kansas City, Missouri. |
