Obituary of MARTHA L. WAGNER |
Martha L. Wagner, 79, died Sunday, Aug. 3, 1980, at the
Hoisington Hospital after a long illness. Born Feb. 26, 1901, in Milberger,
she married Henry Wagner June 16, 1928, moving here from Galatia.
Mrs. Wagner was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Hoisington. Survivors including her husband; one son, Waldine of Hoisington; four daughters, Mrs. Robert (Alice) Batt of Hoisington, Mrs. Alice (Doris) Karst, of Hays, Mrs. Leon (Eldora) Brower, of Stinnett, Tex., and Mrs. Lila Jean Stoss of Olmitz; one sister, Mrs. Tabea Herdt of Hillsboro; 23 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. The funeral was at 10:30 a.ml Tuesday at the church with the Rev. Art Anderson officiating. Burial was in the Hoisington Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the church. The Nicholson-Ricke funeral home in Hoisington was in charge of arrangements. (Funeral Card) |
