Delma S. Klostermeier, 78, formerly of Atchison, died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 1994 at Rolling Hills Nursing Home, Topeka.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Ziegler officiating. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of services Friday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Topeka Lutheran School, Trinity Lutheran School, Atchison, or the charity of the donor's choice.

Mrs. Klostermeier worked at St. Luke's Hospital, Wellington; Santa Fe Hospital, Mulvane; and Atchison Hospital, before entering the Army Nurse Corp. She was a supervisor at the Old Winter General Hospital, Topeka, and retired from Shawnee County Health Department in 1973 as a hospital coordinator.

She was born May 5, 1916, in Ford, the daughter of John W. and Nora E. Clark Stout. She attended grade school and high school in western Kansas.

Mrs. Klostermeier was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Topeka, a Girl Scout leader for a troop at Topeka Lutheran Church and a camp nurse at Daisey Hindman for one summer camp.

She married Carl G. Klostermeier on Oct. 17, 1942. He died on Feb. 25, 1992.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Washburn, Topeka; a step daughter, Carla Hardin, Blairsden, Calif.; three brothers, Carvel Stout, Leadville, Colo., John J. Stout, Centralia, Wash., and Virgil Stout, Alaska; a sister, Audrey Yarbrought, Winlock, Wash.; four step grandchildren; one step great-granddaughter, and two step great-great-grandchildren.
