Orville Robinson Arrested

Sheriff Haun arrested Orville Robinson at Dodge City last week and brought him to jail here on Friday night. Orville is charged with having broken into J. W. Metz's store at Kiowa in April and having stolen a suit of clothes and five or six dollars in money. He is a boy about 17 years old and a race rider by profession. He worked for G. D. Brandon here last winter and when arrested was working for the Christian outfit. When the sheriff had him in charge at Dodge he made an attempt to get away but after he failed, he confessed his crime. The warrant has been in the sheriff's hands since June. He had his preliminary hearing at Kiowa on Monday, pleaded guilty and was committed to jail until October to await sentence.
