Bill Douglas Miller

Bill Douglas Miller, age 53, died Friday, December 7th at the South Wind Hospice Home in Pratt, Kansas. He was born June 6, 1954 in Arkansas City, Kansas the son of Bob and Carole (Allen) Miller.

He was baptized in the Methodist Church. The family moved to Lyons in June of 1964 and he graduated high school in 1972. He attended schools in Arkansas City, El Dorado and Lyons. Bill has been a resident of Medicine Lodge for 20 years, working in the oil industry, moving from Lyons in 1986. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, starting with his father when he was a young boy. He was also a big fan of Nascar.

He is survived by his parents: Bob & Carole Miller, a son: Colt Miller of Medicine Lodge, KS, two daughters: Tonya Johnson of Lakeside, AZ and Ashley Miller of Medicine Lodge, a brother: Stuart Miller of Lyons, KS, a sister: Stephanie Steadman of Kennewick, WA, three grandchildren: Jaden, Rhein and Heidi, two uncles, one aunt, five nephews and two nieces.

No visitation. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Christian Church in Medicine Lodge with Pastor Tom Walters presiding. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery in Medicine Lodge.
