Catherine Ruth (Molz) Bindrum was born on August 26, 1924 in Hardtner, Kansas; the daughter of J.M. and Mary (Mercer> Molz. She graduated from Hardtner High School in 1942 and completed one year at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas. On November 22, 1972, she was married to Louie Bindrum in Alva, Oklahoma. They made their home in Alva then moved to Wichita, Kansas. In 1976, they made their home in Woodward.
She was a faithful member and church organist at the Elm Street Baptist Church. Cathey was a loving wife and mother.
Catherine died Thursday in the Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was 69 years of age.
Survivors include her husband, Louie of the home; three daughters, Judi Shelton and husband, Richard, Woodward; Julie Bindrum, Edmond; Jean Small and husband, Danny, Amarillo, TX.; three sons, David Bindrum and wife, Marilyn, Alva; Mike Bindrum, Oklahoma City; Loyd Gallimore, Mackaville, KS.; one sister, Marguerite Stitt and husband, Paul, Ft. Dodge, IA.; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, two daughters and three sons.
