DANIEL THOMAS KIDD DIES SUDDENLY

Daniel Thomas Kidd was born February 26, 1872, at Oak Grove, Mo., and departed this life February 1, 1937, at Medicine Lodge, Kansas, at the age of 65 years, 11 months and 5 days.

He came to Kansas with his parents when he was about 10 years of age and has lived in and around Medicine Lodge ever since.

He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Adams November 26, 1903. To this union eleven children were born, one of which preceded him in death.

He united with the Christian church about twenty-three years ago and was a member at the time of his death.

Those who remain to mourn his departure are, his wife, ten children, Fred Morris Kidd of Pampa, Texas, Gladys Ditgen of Medicine Lodge, Diana Ruth Saunders of Medicine Lodge, Josephine Lalikier of Ketchum, Okla., Nettie Louise Pinkston of Pratt, Kansas, Edith Helen Hays of Medicine Lodge, and Bettie June, Dale Thomas, and L. D., and Jack Charles all of Medicine Lodge. He also leaves one son, Paul, by a former marriage, one brother, one sister, 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

He was a kind husband and a good father.

Funeral services were conducted from the Forsyth Funeral Home on Tuesday morning at eleven o'clock in charge of Rev. R. C. Scott, pastor of the Christian church and burial was made in Highland cemetery.
