Edna M. (Rogers) Snell

Edna M. Snell, 69, died March 4, 2007, at her home, Medicine Lodge.

She was born July 11, 1937, in Jetmore, the daughter of Otto and Fae (Sloan) Rogers. A resident of Medicine Lodge since 1977, she was an EMT, a bus driver, worked at Howard Meat Market, and was a receptionist at Jetmore Hospital and Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital.

On April 5, 1957, she married Glen P. Snell in Jetmore. He survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Gregg and Eric, both of Shawnee; two daughters, Melanie Naden, Wichita, and Rachel Eck, Cherryvale; a brother, Claude Rogers, Spearville; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Wanda Courtney and Sylvia Rogers.

Memorial service was Friday, March 9 at Community Bible Fellowship Church, Medicine Lodge, with Pastor Dwain Richert presiding. Inurnment was in Highland Cemetery.
