Fern O Waller

Fern O. Waller, 77, died April 13, 1985, at Cedar Crest Manor, Medicine Lodge, following a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of Sam and Patty Watson, born May 28, 1907, at Alba, Tex. On November 29, 1922, she was united in marriage to Thomas D. Waller of Childress, Tex. In November, 1984, Tom and Fern celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary.

To that union, seven children were born. Survivors include her husband of the home; daughters, Wanda Willard and Mary Poschen, both of Enid, Okla., and Betty Harding of Medicine Lodge; sons, Tommie of Bullard, Tex., Wayne, Billie and David, all of Medicine Lodge; a granddaughter she raised, Kim Schnoebelen of Mooreland, Okla.; brother, Billy Jo Tumlinson, Oscala, Fla.; sister, Letha Wilson, Oklahoma City, Okla.; 22 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Fern enjoyed doing many things for her family and friends. Everyone who knew her was touched by her love and concern.

Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, at the First Christian Church where she was a member with the Rev. Bill Park and Rev. Joe Hunsaker officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge. Memorials to the American Cancer Association.
