Frank O. Borden

Frank O. Borden, 71, died Saturday, June 10, 2006 at his home in Medicine Lodge. He was born December 10, 1934 at Ralston, Oklahoma, the son of Leonard W. and Flora (Thomas) Borden. A resident of Medicine Lodge for 45 years, coming from Fairfax, Oklahoma, he was the Superintendent for the City of Medicine Lodge for 30 years.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Fairfax, Oklahoma, Jaycee’s, Elks Lodge and Medicine Lodge Golf Association.

On January 21, 1956, he married Agnes Bailey at Fairfax, Oklahoma. She survives. Other survivors include a son Matt Borden and his wife, Johnanna, Garden City, Kansas; and a daughter Rita Moore and her husband Ed, Fort Lupton, Colorado; a brother-in-law and adopted son Frank Bailey and his wife Trish, Pueblo, Colorado; 5 grandchildren, Tracy Lynn, Natalie, Raven, Jennifer and Todd and 4 great grandchildren, Kinley, J.J., Ella, and Avery.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a great granddaughter, Madison.

Graveside Service was held on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge, with Pastor Tom Walters and Reverend Russell Stolp officiating.
