James Raye Goodway was born November 23rd, 1938 and after a short life here and all that human hands could do to save his life, he slipped away to return to God who gave it.

He passed away at the Galloway hospital at Anthony, Kansas, January 26, 1940, at 8 a.m. at the age of one year, two months and three days.

Leaving to mourn the loss of this darling child is the mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Goodway, one sister, Jane Kaye. The grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Goodway, Medford, Okla., and Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Trantham, four uncles and four aunts, besides other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held at the Baptist church Sunday morning at 11 o'clock with Rev. H. R. Young officiating. Burial was made in the Attica cemetery.
