Joseph Harold Loster Services Held Saturday

Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 2, at Forsyth Mortuary for Joseph Harold Loster, 56, who passed away at the Veterans' hospital in Wichita, Kansas, on Thursday, April 30. The Rev. Robert Gordon officiated.

Loster, a brother of Mrs. Royce Gerstner of Sharon, Kansas was born Sept. 6, 1902 at Gypsum City, Kansas. He was a member of the V. F. W. post No. 7625 and a member of the Baptist church. He served in World War II and served in Saipan, Alaska and the Aleutian Islands.

He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Dora Howard, Colorado, Mrs. Anna Seere, Junction City, Kansas, and Mrs. Leone Gerstner, Sharon, Kansas; and one brother, William Loster, of Colorado.

Interment was in the Hardtner cemetery with military graveside services.
