Marilyn Mae Shellenberger

Marilyn Mae Shellenberger, 64, died Dec. 15, 1996, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus, Wichita.

She was born May 16, 1932, at Olathe, the daughter of John W.A. and Nellie C. Springate Kramer. A Medicine Lodge resident since 1969, coming from Wichita and Topeka, she was co-owner of Bill's TV and Appliance in Medicine Lodge for the past 14 years.

She was a member of Pilot Club, was 4-H leader, was PTA Mother and was a former member of Medicine Lodge Chamber of Commerce, all of Medicine Lodge. She was instrumental in getting Barber County the 911 System through the Pilot Club.

On March 4, 1955, she married Billy Joe Shellenberger at Topeka. He survives.

Other survivors include: a son, Rohn A., Scott City; two daughters, Karen Snyder, Lyons, and Sharon A. Emrick, Medicine Lodge; a brother, Teddy J. Kramer, Olathe; two sisters, Linda J. Myers, Ava. Mo., and Kathern A. Sanger, Seymour, Mo.; and six grandchildren.

Graveside services were held.
